Ex-convict indicted for murder of hiker Lauren Heike in Phoenix
Zion William Teasley, the man accused of killing hiker Lauren Heike on a Phoenix hiking trail, has been indicted for first-degree murder by a Maricopa County grand jury. Heike's body was found on the Reach 11 trail in north Phoenix on April 29, and police believe she was killed the day before in a seemingly random attack. Teasley was arrested several days later after DNA and other evidence linked him to the crime.
