The fund trustees reversed their decision to end health care benefits on July 23 after intense discussions with Teamsters leadership. Yellow Corp now has 30 days to pay its $50 million in delinquent benefit payments, with the understanding that it will do so within the next two weeks. Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien emphasized the importance of health care for workers and expressed the need for a resolution that acknowledges their sacrifices.
