Youth Deer Hunting Season Marred by Tragic Shooting Incident

A 50-year-old man was seriously injured after being shot by a 10-year-old during the opening weekend of the youth deer hunting season in Hubbard County, Minnesota. The incident occurred when the man instructed the child to unload a rifle, and the child accidentally squeezed the trigger, hitting the man in the buttocks. The man was airlifted to a Fargo hospital for treatment.
