Organized by Youth America Grand Prix, the event aimed to showcase the healing power of dance and celebrate the organization's 25th anniversary. Adjudicated by Guinness World Records, the dancers stood en pointe for 60 seconds, eliciting cheers when the record was officially broken. Dancers, aged 9 to 19, expressed excitement and pride in being part of the historic event.

Hundreds of young ballet dancers from around the world gathered at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan to simultaneously hold the "en pointe" position for more than a minute, setting a new Guinness World Record with 353 participants.
