Man arrested for murder after dismembered remains found in Modesto home

Elk Grove Unified School District is investigating a phishing email that may have compromised sensitive information of employees who interacted with it. A Modesto resident has been arrested in connection with the murder of a missing Stockton woman whose dismembered and burned remains were found in his home. Fire crews are undergoing rigorous drills to prepare for peak California wildfire season. Most of Yosemite Valley will close due to flooding, and a map of California wildflowers has been created.
