
Yoga Sect Leader Gregorian Bivolaru Arrested in France for Exploitation and Trafficking
French police have arrested Gregorian Bivolaru, a fugitive yoga sect leader, and 40 of his followers. The arrests were made following investigations into allegations of abuse, rape, human trafficking, and kidnapping. During the raids, 26 women were found in deplorable conditions. Bivolaru, the 71-year-old Romanian leader of the group, was arrested in a Paris suburb. He has previously been convicted of sex with a minor in Romania and is wanted in Finland on suspicion of human trafficking. The sect, known as Misa or Atman, has been accused of forcing followers into sexual activities and financial exploitation.
