Cold case search for missing Stanford student Ylva Hagner continues in Redwood City.
The FBI and police are searching for remains related to the disappearance of Ylva Hagner, a Stanford student who went missing in 1996. The search is taking place in Redwood City, where evidence technicians were seen removing paving stones from a yard at a home on Farm Hill Blvd. Hagner was last seen at her place of employment, IXOS Software, and her car was found abandoned three days later. She was studying for a master's degree in liberal arts at Stanford at the time of her disappearance.
