Israeli Settlers' Attacks Escalate in West Bank
A group of around 15 Jewish settlers from the West Bank settlement of Yitzhar reportedly set a car on fire and attempted to set a building ablaze in the village of Asira al-Qibliya, according to an Israeli security official. These incidents come amidst a surge in settler violence in the West Bank and efforts to clear land for future settlements, and follow unprecedented sanctions by the U.K. and U.S. against four extremist Israeli settlers.
