"Second Wind: The End of Zero Punctuation and The Escapist's Staff Exodus"
Former employees of The Escapist, Nick Calandra and Yahtzee Croshaw, have launched a new independent games and culture website called Second Wind after resigning from their positions. Calandra revealed that he was fired as editor-in-chief of The Escapist, along with other staff, for failing to meet unspecified goals. Second Wind aims to provide informative, interesting, and fun content, similar to what was expected from The Escapist. The website will begin releasing videos on November 15th.
