The Cycle: Frontier, Free-to-Play Shooter, Shutting Down in September Due to Financial Viability
Yager, the developer of Spec Ops: The Line and Dreadnought, has announced that its free-to-play PvPvE extraction shooter, The Cycle: Frontier, will be shutting down on September 27th due to financial viability issues. Despite efforts to improve the game since its launch last year, including three seasons of updates, the developer was unable to address the sharp increase in cheaters and experienced a significant decrease in players. Yager will be refunding recent purchases and focusing on new projects using the experience and feedback gained from The Cycle: Frontier.
