Nintendo Switch dominates UK and global console sales.
Despite a drop in sales for the UK PC and console games market in April, the Nintendo Switch saw a 26% increase in sales due to the release of a special edition Zelda console, accounting for 29% of all Switch consoles sold. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was the best-selling game of the month, with launch sales up 31% over its 2019 predecessor. PS5 remained the No.1 console, followed by Nintendo Switch and then Xbox Series S and X.
