Factorio, the popular Steam management game, is receiving significant quality-of-life upgrades including changes to the Spidertron remote, enhanced pipetting, and improved blueprint grid adjustment. With a dedicated player base and a 97% positive rating on Steam, these updates are anticipated to be well-received. The game's developer, Wube Software, is also working on Factorio 2.0 and Space Age updates for later in 2024.
The upcoming Factorio: Space Age expansion will introduce new rails that double the number of directions a rail track can be placed, as well as the ability to create elevated rail systems using ramps and supports. This allows for two layers of rail systems and the extension of railways across bodies of water. Additionally, the Rail Planner will now allow snap connections between ground and elevated rails. These changes aim to make creating efficient factories easier in the game. The expansion is expected to release on PC in late 2024.
