Wrangler rescues runaway cow on I-75 in Michigan

A cow escaped from wranglers on horseback and four-wheelers and made its way onto northbound I-75 in Michigan. Michigan State Police helped block off traffic, eventually halting traffic in both directions on I-75, as wranglers chased the cow. The cow was eventually captured and led to the median. Among those who helped safely capture the cow was local cowboy Ricky Littlejohn, who actually wrangles loose cattle for a living.

Jeep's 2024 lineup: Cheaper hybrids, new features, and off-road battles.

Jeep is adding a cheaper plug-in hybrid, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport S 4xe, to its lineup, which could help maintain its top PHEV sales spot. The Sport S 4xe will have a curb weight of 5,049 pounds, a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine with an eTorque belt-start generator/motor, and 21 miles of all-electric range. Jeep will offer five 4xe trims: the Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and High Altitude. By 2030, 50% of Jeep brand sales in the United States will be battery-electric vehicles and 100% of Jeep vehicles in Europe will be fully electric.

Jeep has unveiled the 2024 Wrangler SUV with more features and capabilities to compete with Ford's newer Bronco. The updated Wrangler includes a redesigned interior with additional safety, convenience, and tech features, larger tires, and an 8,000-pound-capacity warn winch. The 2024 Wrangler will be available in Sport, Willys, Sahara, High Altitude, Rubicon, and Rubicon392 models, and will also offer a plug-in hybrid electric version. Jeep hopes to expand its sales by offering the 4xe on a lower-priced model called the Wrangler Sport S.

2024 Jeep Wrangler: More Hybrid Power, Bold Design Changes, and Enhanced Off-Road Capabilities.

Jeep is introducing two new trim levels for the 2024 Wrangler 4xe, as well as a host of new tech features that it says are designed to chart a path to a completely electrified lineup by 2025. The Wrangler 4xe is estimated to get 21 miles of all-electric range and 49 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe). Jeep is hoping to capitalize on the Wrangler 4xe’s popularity with its adventure-minded customers, and is doubling down on a lot of the features that made the first version so popular, namely more off-road capabilities, better towing, and enhanced in-car technology.
