'Priscilla' Premiere Altered Amid World Events and Union Dispute
The red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of A24's film Priscilla has been canceled "out of respect" for recent world events, following Hamas' attack on Israel. The screening will still take place, and the actors are permitted to promote the film. The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures also canceled its red carpet for the Academy Museum Gala, which was set to honor Meryl Streep, Sofia Coppola, Michael B. Jordan, and Oprah Winfrey. Sony also canceled its New York Comic Con panel for Thanksgiving with Eli Roth. The Priscilla premiere in L.A. was moved to a new location due to an ongoing contract dispute.
