Google to Discontinue Support for Dropcams, Nest Secure, and Works with Nest Products
Google is shutting down servers for several old Nest smart home products, including Dropcam and Nest Secure, which will turn them into useless bricks. Existing users are being offered deals on hardware upgrades to something that is supported. Google is also shutting down the Works with Nest smart home ecosystem, which will be replaced by Works with Google Home.
