Tragic Fatalities at JFK Airport Construction Site
Two construction workers died after falling into a 30-foot trench outside a generator plant at JFK Airport while relocating utility lines. The bodies of the trapped men were pulled out after a frantic rescue operation involving 60 firefighters, Port Authority Police, and medics. A stop order for all construction at JFK has been issued, and an investigation is ongoing.
