IDF Cites Tank Shortages, Delays Female Armored Units Program
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it cannot open women's armored units due to a shortage of operational tanks, many of which were damaged in recent conflicts. The IDF stated that the current number of tanks is insufficient for both combat and training purposes, delaying the opening of women's units until at least November 2025.
