Windows 11's Modern Run Fails to Replace Legacy Version
Microsoft is testing a new, modern Windows Run dialog built with WinUI for Windows 11, which offers a more visually appealing and touch-friendly interface but remains optional and does not replace the traditional legacy Run for now. The new Run features a sleek, flyout design, adapts to dark/light modes, and includes a history list, though it lacks some features like the 'Browse' option and cannot be moved from its position. It is still in early development and is intended to coexist with the classic version.
