Pelicans coach Willie Green is optimistic about his team's young talent and health, especially Zion Williamson, and emphasizes the importance of team connectivity and improvement as they prepare for the NBA season.
Zion Williamson's expanded role as a point guard for the New Orleans Pelicans has led to a significant shift in the team's offensive strategy, resulting in a 117-106 victory over the LA Clippers. With improved court vision and playmaking abilities, Williamson orchestrated the team's attack, finishing with 21 points and 10 assists. Coach Willie Green's decision to prioritize more touches for Williamson has allowed the star player to run the offense as a 280-pound point guard, creating opportunities for his teammates and making the Pelicans a more formidable playoff contender in the Western Conference.
