"Fire Engine Accident Shuts Down West Warwick Station"

A West Warwick fire engine crashed through Station 2, but no one was injured. The incident occurred when a door on the side of the truck popped open as it was leaving for a call, causing it to pull on the building. The overhead garage door also came down on the truck, but suffered little damage. Multiple DUI Charges Filed in Warwick Crashes

A 56-year-old woman, Kimberly Bellavance, is facing charges of driving under the influence after allegedly crashing her vehicle into a home in West Warwick, Rhode Island. Witnesses reported that she was driving at a high speed before crossing the center lines, striking the curb, and causing her car to go airborne. The crash resulted in severe structural damage to the home and Bellavance was taken to the hospital for her injuries. She pleaded not guilty to the charges and has a pretrial conference scheduled for August 30.
