Traffic Chaos: Multiple Crashes Cause Delays on I-80 and I-82
A fiery crash on I-80 near West Branch, Iowa, has caused delays and a detour in both directions. The Iowa Department of Transportation reported road blocks and large clouds of smoke. Google reported delays of up to 12 minutes eastbound and 11 minutes westbound. The left lane is blocked in both directions, and a detour is in place. Earlier in the day, there was a multiple vehicle crash in the same area, but the highway had reopened.
