
Disabled Pro Cornhole Champion Charged in Maryland Shooting
Dayton James Webber, a 27-year-old quadruple-amputee who has earned national attention as a professional cornhole player, is charged with first- and second-degree murder in a La Plata, Md., shooting that killed 27-year-old Bradrick Wells. After an argument, Webber reportedly stopped the car and asked two passengers to help remove Wells; they refused, Webber drove off with Wells in the vehicle, and later fled to Charlottesville, Va., where he was arrested as a fugitive before being extradited to Maryland. The American Cornhole League acknowledged the charges. No further details were released about the motive or circumstances.
