Youth Pastor in South Carolina Faces 58 Charges for Secretly Filming Women and Children
A former youth pastor in South Carolina, Daniel Kellan Mayfield, is facing additional charges after being hired as a wedding videographer and setting up cameras to record women getting ready. Mayfield had previously been charged with voyeurism for filming a woman in the shower and was accused of videotaping multiple girls in a church bathroom. The latest warrants reveal that he set up cameras in areas where women had a reasonable expectation of privacy, including one near the floor to film up women's clothing and another in a room where bridesmaids were changing. Mayfield is now facing 26 counts of voyeurism, 32 charges of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count of voyeurism in two different counties.
