Arrested: Upstate Student Detained for Bringing Guns to School
A student in Anderson County, South Carolina, was taken into custody after attempting to bring two handguns onto the campus of Westside High School. The student was stopped by the EVOLV Weapons Detection System at the front door and was subsequently arrested without incident. The student, who was already on probation for previous weapons charges, has been charged with carrying a weapon onto school property and has been taken to Columbia.
