LA Olympics Leader Regrets 2003 Maxwell Emails in Epstein Files
Casey Wasserman, head of the LA 2028 Olympic bid, says he deeply regrets 2003 email exchanges with Ghislaine Maxwell that surfaced in newly released Epstein-related files; he stresses he had no personal or business ties to Epstein and notes a 2002 Clinton Foundation humanitarian trip on Epstein's plane. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of sex trafficking and is serving 20 years; Epstein died by suicide in 2019. The emails were released under a law mandating disclosure of files on Epstein and Maxwell.
