Solo Gaming Startups Sell for Millions

Wargraphs, a one-man-band startup behind a popular companion app for League of Legends called Porofessor, is being acquired by MOBA Networks for up to €50 million ($54 million). The acquisition will expand the app to more markets, in particular across Asia, and build analytics for more titles. Wargraphs has been profitable with revenues of €12.3 million in its last fiscal year. The acquisition underscores how a completely different approach can be just as lucrative, if not more, in the consumer segment.
