Haruki Murakami has released his latest novel, "The City and Its Uncertain Walls," which he began writing in January 2020 and finished in December 2022. The novel explores the concept of walls and shadows, and Murakami says it is a positive story despite its dark elements. The book is his first since the 2017 bestseller, "Killing Commendatore."
