"Super Bowl LVIII: Record-Breaking Bets and Epic Events in Las Vegas"
A survey by the American Gaming Association predicts that over $23.1 billion will be bet on Super Bowl LVIII, with approximately 67.8 million adults expected to participate, marking a significant increase from last year. The survey, conducted by Morning Consult, includes bets placed through various channels such as online, at casinos, and with family or friends. With the growth of legal sports betting, the U.S. gaming industry has seen over $300 billion in bets since 2018, and commercials for sportsbooks during sporting events have become commonplace. Nevada's betting market remains strong, and research firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming estimates that $1.25 billion will be wagered on the Super Bowl through American sportsbooks, with a significant portion of bets being same-game parlays and live wagers.
