Hideo Kojima and Jordan Peele Unveil Highly Anticipated OD Collaboration

Capcom has released a free VR Mode DLC for the Resident Evil 4 remake, exclusively available on PlayStation VR2. The VR mode allows players to immerse themselves in the game's world as Leon S. Kennedy, with vividly rendered environments and 3D audio. The PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers provide immersive inputs, and haptic feedback makes each firearm feel unique. A gameplay demo is also available, showcasing the game's opening and the new Shooting Range mode. Resident Evil 4 is now available on multiple platforms and will be coming to iPhone 15 Pro models and select Apple devices in December.

"Humanity Launches in May as PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Title"

Enhance's new puzzle action-platformer game, Humanity, will launch on May 16 for PS4 and PS5 via PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. The game features a Shiba Inu who can command crowds of people to take on platforming challenges. It includes 90 stages, a stage-creator, and a virtual reality mode that supports PSVR, PSVR 2, and PC VR headsets. The game will also be available for purchase standalone at $30.

Capcom Discusses Resident Evil Village on PSVR 2 and Future Plans

Capcom's Kazuhiro Takahara, Director of Resident Evil Village VR Mode, discussed the challenges of bringing the game to PSVR 2, including designing VR-native controls and maintaining a good frame rate. He also cited the realistic environments and appeal of becoming the heroes of the Resident Evil series as reasons why the franchise is a good fit for virtual reality. While there are no plans to bring Village's DLC content or Mercenaries mode to PSVR 2, a "very large majority" of PSVR 2 owners have tried out Village's VR Mode since launch.
