Volumetric 3D Printing Reaches Sub-Second Speeds With Projector Periscope
Researchers at Tsinghua University demonstrated a sub-second volumetric 3D printing method that uses a high-speed projector periscope instead of rotating the resin volume, enabling printing with less viscous resins and continuous pumping into a collection vessel for scalable manufacturing, while maintaining micron-scale accuracy—promising mass production potential but not yet hobbyist-friendly.
