PortMiami reopens after fatal vessel collision.
The PortMiami has been authorized to reopen to marine traffic after being shut down due to a collision between a yacht and a ferry vessel that killed one person. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating and working to remove the sunken yacht. The closure impacted cruise passengers on board Carnival Cruise Line’s Celebration ship, Norwegian Cruise Line’s Norwegian Escape, and MSC Seascape.
