Splatoon 3 Update Accidentally Ships Balance Changes Planned for a Future Patch
Nintendo's Splatoon 3 version 11.0.1 fix inadvertently included balance changes meant for a future patch. The changes affect Rapid Blaster and Rapid Blaster Deco (ink-radius increase of about 10%) and the R Blaster Elite/Deco/WNTR (ink consumption up by about 14%). Nintendo won't revert them, as they’re intended for a future update; these tweaks aren’t listed in the 11.0.1 patch notes. A follow-up update will include additional balance changes, and Splatoon 3 will continue receiving updates on Nintendo Switch.
