Verizon has settled a class action lawsuit for $100 million without admitting wrongdoing, concerning administrative charges imposed on customers. Eligible current and former Verizon users charged between January 1, 2016, and November 8, 2023, can claim a base payment of $15 plus $1 for each month they paid the fee, capped at $100 per account. Claims must be submitted by April 15, with the option to opt out by February 20. The settlement also includes Verizon amending its Customer Agreement for clearer disclosure of charges.
