Honda recalls over 300,000 vehicles for missing seat belt piece
Honda is recalling over 303,000 Accords and HR-Vs due to potentially defective seat belts. The front seat belt pretensioners were assembled without a rivet securing the quick connector and wire plate, which may not properly restrain occupants in the event of a collision. No injuries or deaths have been reported, but there have been seven warranty claims. Owners can check if their vehicle is affected by entering their VIN on Honda's recall webpage or calling a designated number. Repairs and inspections will be conducted free of charge at authorized Honda dealerships, and reimbursement is available for those who have already paid for related repairs.
