Thailand's King's Estranged Son Returns After 27 Years
Vacharaesorn Vivacharawongse, the estranged son of Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn, has returned to the country after 27 years of living abroad. His surprise return comes at a sensitive time for the Thai royal family, as the king's eldest daughter remains in a coma. Vacharaesorn visited a daycare center for underprivileged children in Bangkok and donated money to support their work. He also visited religious sites in the city. The king, who has been married four times and has seven children, has not named an official heir.
