Vacant property owned by MetroHealth charity in Clark-Fulton attracts crime, say neighbors
Neighbors in Cleveland's Clark-Fulton neighborhood are frustrated with a vacant apartment building owned by MetroHealth's charity, CCH Development Corporation, which has become a hub for crime and other issues. Despite being purchased in 2019 as part of a revitalization project, no action has been taken. MetroHealth plans to demolish the property and clean the area in spring 2024, citing difficulties in securing funding for new construction. The buildings may eventually be repurposed for housing, but no concrete plans have been made.
