Multiple Vehicle Crashes Cause Major Road Closures and Arrests.
A three-vehicle crash on US95 northbound at Jones resulted in the closure of the highway. The driver of a dark-colored Jeep, who was suspected of driving under the influence, hit the rear of a silver Toyota, causing it to steer off the road. The Jeep overturned and was hit by a white Toyota. The driver of the white Toyota was critically injured and taken to UMC. The driver of the Jeep was arrested for suspicion of impairment. All traffic was diverted off at Jones while police investigated.
