Arrests Made at US-Canadian Border Include Romanians Linked to Organized Crime
Twenty Romanian nationals, including two with ties to organized crime, were apprehended by Border Patrol agents after illegally crossing the US-Canadian border in four vehicles. The subjects were transported for processing and revealed to be mostly family members, including 10 adults and 10 juveniles. This incident follows the recent indictment of a Romanian national attempting to smuggle six individuals into the US via the Washington-Canadian border.
