Multiple House Fires in Cumberland and Preble Counties Result in Injuries and Losses
Two firefighters were injured in a two-alarm fire that occurred in Upper Allen Township, Cumberland County. The fire started in the garage and spread to the house. Firefighters were told that two children were trapped, but they were found safely outside. The garage collapsed, causing two firefighters to become trapped. They were extracted with minor injuries and transported to the hospital. The cause of the fire is unknown, and State Police will be investigating.
