The Bob Dylan Center and Universal Music Publishing Group have announced the Bob Dylan Center Songwriter Fellowship, which will be awarded annually to two songwriters. The fellowship includes a $40,000 project stipend, presentation opportunities, access to the Bob Dylan Archive, and recording time at Leon Russell's Church Studio. The fellowship will be awarded by BDC and UMPG executives, along with a global panel of artists. Songwriters can apply until October 18, 2023, and the fellowship begins on May 1, 2024.
Grammy-winning artist Jack Antonoff has entered into a comprehensive partnership with Dirty Hit Records founder Jamie Oborne, including management, a joint venture, and signing his band Bleachers to Dirty Hit. Antonoff has also signed a global agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group, staying with his longtime publishing A&R Jennifer Knoepfle.
