"Israeli Soldiers Uncover Gaza Tunnel Holding 20 Hostages in Khan Younis"
Israeli soldiers uncovered a kilometer-long tunnel in the Gaza Strip that was used by Hamas to hold about 20 hostages in cramped cells. The tunnel, rigged with blast doors and explosives, was discovered in the house of a Hamas member in Khan Younis. The hostages were kept in harsh conditions without daylight, in dense air with little oxygen and terrible humidity. Some hostages were freed during a truce, while others remain captive after being captured during Hamas' rampage through southern Israel.
