Suspect apprehended in fatal shooting of 9-year-old at birthday party in Franklin Park
A 37-year-old man, Javier Murillo, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 9-year-old Ulysses Campos, who was attending his grandmother's birthday party in Franklin Park, Illinois. Ulysses was playing near an alley when shots were fired from a moving vehicle, hitting him in the chest. He was taken to the hospital but pronounced dead. Family members remember Ulysses as a loving and caring boy. Murillo is scheduled to appear in bond court on Wednesday.
