Georgia Football's Uga X Retires, Uga XI "Boom" to be Introduced at G-Day Game.
Georgia Bulldogs' English Bulldog mascot, Uga X, is retiring after eight years and two national championships. Uga XI, a 10-month-old English Bulldog named Boom, will be collared at a ceremony before Saturday's G-Day game. The Uga line has been maintained by the Seiler family since 1955, and Uga has gained fame over the years, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated and in the movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil."
