Tamires Vidal vs. Hailey Cowan has been removed from the UFC San Antonio fight card due to medical issues suffered by Vidal. Vidal was hoping to continue her winning streak after a first-round knockout victory in her UFC debut, while Cowan was set to make her UFC debut after earning a contract with the organization. UFC San Antonio will still feature a bantamweight main event between Marlon Vera and Cory Sandhagen, as well as a co-headlining attraction between Holly Holm and Yana Santos.
