Microsoft Expands Activision Game Deals Across Multiple Platforms and Regions.

Microsoft has signed a 10-year partnership with Tokyo-based cloud gaming provider Ubitus to stream Xbox PC games and Activision Blizzard titles after the acquisition closes. Ubitus is known for working with many publishers on cloud versions of games for Nintendo Switch. Microsoft's 10-year deals continue with gaming partnerships.

Microsoft has signed a ten-year agreement with Japanese cloud gaming company Ubitus to stream Xbox PC Games and Activision Blizzard titles after the acquisition closes, in an attempt to allay regulatory concerns around its proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Ubitus powers many of the cloud games available on Nintendo Switch. This is Microsoft's second announcement this week for a third-party cloud gaming platform. The Xbox owner is trying to convince global regulators to approve the proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard amid concerns that it could build a monopoly in cloud gaming.

Microsoft's 10-Year ActiBlizz Partnership Expands to New Platforms and Services

Xbox has signed a 10-year deal with cloud gaming provider Ubitus, allowing the company to use Xbox PC games and ActiBlizz titles following the acquisition. Ubitus has previously brought games to the Nintendo Switch in cloud form. This is the second 10-year partnership Microsoft has announced in a week, with more expected in the future.
