"Fatal Rochester Uber Crash Near Kodak Center Investigated as Possible Domestic Terrorism"
Justina Hughes, 28, and Joshua Orr, 29, were killed in a crash involving an Uber they were riding in after a Rochester rock concert, when Michael Avery, 35, intentionally crashed into them with an SUV loaded with gasoline canisters. The crash resulted in an explosion, killing Avery, Hughes, Orr, and injuring nine others. Avery is being investigated as a potential terrorist, but no evidence of an ideology or nexus to terrorism has been found so far. Hughes and Orr are being hailed as heroes by their families, who believe their unintended sacrifice saved many other lives. The FBI is involved in the investigation, and domestic terrorism has not been ruled out as a motive.
