Dodgers Trade for Pitcher Tyson Miller from Brewers

The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired right-handed pitcher Tyson Miller from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for cash. To make room on the roster, the Dodgers placed reliever Daniel Hudson on the injured list. Miller, who had been designated for assignment by the Brewers, has a 5.79 ERA and seven strikeouts in seven games this season. He has previously played for the Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers.

Adrian Houser Returns to Brewers' Active Roster

The Milwaukee Brewers have activated right-hander Adrian Houser, who will start today’s game against the Giants, and optioned right-hander Tyson Miller to Triple-A. Houser will provide stability to the Brewers' rotation while Woodruff is on the mend. Miller posted a solid 1.93 ERA in three appearances as a multi-inning reliever with the club and will act as pitching depth for the Brewers going forward.
