Luis Robert Jr. Lands on IL with Knee Injury, Season in Jeopardy
The Chicago White Sox have placed outfielder Luis Robert Jr. on the 10-day injured list due to a mild MCL sprain in his left knee, effectively ending his career-best season. The team expects him to recover in two to four weeks. In his place, veteran outfielder Tyler Naquin has been called up from Triple-A Charlotte. The White Sox also placed right-hander Jimmy Lambert on the 60-day injured list. Despite Robert's impressive performance, the White Sox have had a disappointing season with a 60-96 record.
