Tigers make pregame moves, option Kreidler and swap relief arms.

The Detroit Tigers have optioned Ryan Kreidler to Triple-A Toledo to work on his batting skills and activated Michael Lorenzen from the injured list. The Tigers also swapped out bullpen arms, optioning Garrett Hill to Toledo and recalling Tyler Holton. Kreidler made the team out of spring training as a utility infielder but struggled at the plate, going 2-for-18 with seven strikeouts and no walks. The Tigers hope he can improve his batting in the minors.
