
Man Charged with Threatening Presidential Candidates Faces Indictment
Tyler Anderson, a man from New Hampshire, has been indicted by a federal grand jury for threatening the lives of former Governor Chris Christie, an unnamed presidential candidate, and others. Anderson faces three counts of transmitting threats for sending death threats via text messages to three presidential candidates campaigning in New Hampshire. He was arrested on December 9 after federal agents tracked the threatening messages to his phone and home address. Firearms were seized during his arrest. Each charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
